When the great minds of my times proclaimed “its time for us to colonize other planets”, the question raging in my mind was “why are we not there yet“? But now considering how “truly advanced” we’re, the only thing that I am pondering about is “how are we still here… and surviving?“

Meet The Statesmen
R: “Who wrote the National Poem and National Anthem?“
P1 (Beaming; with the intensity of a 4 year old having solved a 12th standard math paper!): “Is this a trick question or what? Both are same!“
P2: “That poem was actually done by several poets. Anthem… I don’t know.“
Anyone who caught a glimpse of that small (8-10 minutes) video in Headlines Today news channel on Independence Day will understand what I am talking about.
I think they decided to quiz our beloved Rajya Sabha members about some really difficult and intimidating questions related to rocket science (read ‘our’ history). Now I can’t conjure words to describe the feelings of the journalist who had the guts to take on such an impetuous task!
