A Special Swiss Trip

I’ve imagined this many a time, but thoughts are not close enough describe the feeling I’ve had over the past three days. We came to Swiss again at last! The turbulent personal situations we went through just about one year back only made the trip sweeter!

The Right Proportions

When I was a toddler,
I was bothered by no troubles.
Then with age came a sense of fear,
All I wanted was the shelter of my parents.

A Change In The Seasons

I was taking a stroll from work back to home, one fine evening, when I noticed how much the season had changed. The fields which were white with knee deep snow a couple of weeks back were now dull green; the pathways which I got so much accustomed to seeing with muddy footprints of unknown travelers had lost its enigmatic self; the trees which were at death’s door were suddenly springing back to life as if by magic, the early flowers were a beautiful offering from the neighboring bare bushes; nature was countering herself in every possible way as if to prove a point!

A Baby Is Born

Out of all gloom
Came the bright lil’ one;
His smile gentle
Our bundle of joy!

An eerie silence broken,
By early winds of March;
His cries rang
An unsung melody ’twas!

Just Another Bus Journey

The world keeps moving.

When I say moving, I don’t mean revolving or rotating around something. I mean moving as in travelling in a linear path. And when I say so, it is only logical that everything associated with the world does.

Anything from the dust to sand to worms to birds to animals, everything does; and so do the sun, the planets and the whole cosmos – whatever you see and don’t, whatever you want to see and you don’t wish to either.

It is something like a very big bus journey, only the destination is still way too far for numbers to hold (in terms of any unit)!

In a way, for us, the world is the center of the universe – no matter what science may suggest.

When we are in a journey what’s more fun than having a riot? Play games, and when the bus is this big, we have so many to meet, so much to do; the limits of time are bound to be squashed by the mere dimensions of the bus!
So we end up playing games like, you know, birth, death and rebirth and travel from this planet to another, meet people, things, become things, try doing mundane things like speaking or writing to convey thoughts and sometimes don’t do anything at all, but just look out of the window and think of the travel and wonder who we are, why we are here and what to do in the future; we morons still associate time with ourselves and vice-versa, even when we’ve realized it is futile!

Of Birth And Death

Human beings are such strange little creatures. They are so very easily cheated by the twin phenomenon of birth and death. They laugh and celebrate birth, cry and despise death. They feel so very safe in their tiny little shelters which they call as their home.

And they try to live a journey in between the cunning twin siblings – a journey which they so affectionately coin as life; a life which they manage to clutter, with morals, values and relationships.

And they are so very confident that these set of moral rules will lead them to the immortal hand which has forged them. Ha! I really don’t think the so called god would have had the same thing in mind when these humans were pushed down from heaven or whichever higher altar it may be.
