It has been nearly a decade since we began traveling outside our homeland. A visit to the United States was long due. We landed in Houston to blast off the vacation of a lifetime!

We are back from a really good trip to places South of London. It is impossible to forget the sound of the sea kissing the pebble beach of Durdle Door and our windy tour to the Isle of Wight.

Sensing Kerala is not the same as what we get to see in those subtle Incredible India ads – believe me on this. It takes more than just good planning and a great place to create a memorable trip. Down the years when I travel back the memory lane I’ll still look back at our “hectic” five day trip to Thrissur not with apathy or anguish, as can be expected from an extraordinarily tiring and gruesome trip, but rather with amazement at the abundance of nature that I got to see in so many varied forms.

It is sad to note that the beautiful country of Holland has come to be popular for all wrong reasons. I would like to showcase the small cities of Amsterdam and Den Haag, and the village of Keukenhof as I saw it during my two day trip and hope, eventually, to set the right tone for this beautiful country.
