Man finds the perfect way to attain peace
And in a moment of generosity decided
To write it down for the future to see!
Another came and had a look at it and thought
‘These are words worth more than gold’
And shared it for more to see.
Then came another who felt he should probably
Publish his views on the great document.
And yet another felt he had found a flaw!
And so on and so forth till the inevitable happens
And the contents of the greatest artifact
Is lost in individual explorations.
The thoughts do remain only for the heart to feel;
But mind follows the newly laid path
And strays away from the straight line.
It is a pity we are ruled
By what lies on top and
Not the soul within!
