A Tamil lullaby for a young child showing the eagerness of mother to make the kid sleep, but at the same time shows her plight in missing the child’s activities even for those few hours of sleep
I strain hard, trying to recollect childhood friendships and games. A faded memory seems to be my only surviving relic from a bygone age.
As I ponder over the photo of someone long forgotten, I end up realizing that this moment of mine is in a sense a photograph captured in the sands of time!
Written for my kids – on international father’s day!
This life of ours is like a log of wood burning in the star that is the true spirit of everyone
Something written impromptu; maybe I hear too many unheard cries of late? This is written for those kids whose childhood has been cut short – perhaps by war, calamity or acts of terror.
They were not meant to be headline news in negative sense. Maybe if we were tolerant enough, we might have seen another flower bloom
My response to those seeking life’s purpose, but unable to find it. My answer to what I think is the true purpose of life.

The eternal soul is an unquenched thirst in our mind for perfection, a fire burning deep within each one of us, an unresolvable enigma whose purpose is beyond human understanding. Yet seek it is what we do, day in and day out.
